EDAM Group named in Sunday Times 100 Best Companies

Here at EDAM, we have been named one of the ‘Best Companies’ to work for in the UK. The accolade, which is awarded by the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies scheme saw us receive a coveted Two Star status.

The rating concerns itself with the engagement of people working within an organisation and acknowledges EDAM as having outstanding levels within our workforce. The 2019 result is a cause for particular celebration as it marked improvement on our one star award of last year.

We scored highly in multiple categories, including My Team, Leadership and Giving Something Back.

The Best Companies scheme, which is run in conjunction with the Sunday Times believes ‘an engaged workforce is more motivated and productive because people take pride in what they are doing and have faith in those around them. This leads to better working relationships, greater collaboration and ultimately a more successful organisation.’

The judging process is rigorous and included a survey of our staff, who were asked questions relating to life at EDAM. Team members were encouraged to provide honest, anonymous input to help determine the result and also enable us to act upon the findings.

Steve Turner, CEO, said: “Positive employee engagement has always been a priority here at EDAM so we are delighted to be awarded a Two Star rating by Best Companies and to be listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to work for. We are moving through a continued period of growth and ensuring all teams within the company adapt and grow with us and our vision is essential.

“We work hard to create a strong and engaged team, for the mutual benefit of our people and our customers. We have a truly outstanding team who are committed to our company and our clients,” Steve continued.

Engaging and valuing our staff is key to ensuring the business maintains its market-leading levels of customer service – especially important as we work towards our 2020 Vision. Keeping people at the heart of all we do with focus on our core values, including innovation, respect, integrity, passion and fun, whilst always working as one team ensures both happy employees and customers.

Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies Founder and CEO Jonathan Austin said: “I would like to congratulate EDAM Group on their achievement of a Two Star Accreditation status and being named as one of the UK’s Best Companies to Work for. Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. We are proud that organisations like EDAM focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that they’re a best company to work for.”
